Dec. 13, 14 and 17

Dec. 13: Students worked on analyzing the 5 motives of Imperialism as well as completing a map of Africa that  indicated the GDP per capita of African nations. 

Dec. 14: Students finished the maps, and I assigned a reading guide: Chapter 11, section 2. It's the salmon colored paper in the W.H. hand-outs folder. Due Monday. 

Dec. 17: We reviewed the motives assignment and students organized themselves into groups of 3 for the upcoming Imperialism project. In second period I assigned a second map of Africa which indicates which Euro. nations colonized Africa. Group project starts tomorrow.
